Compared to the A046's - the Neova A07's are essentially the same from my perspective only the Neova's handle wet weather alot better than the a046's. Don't forget that I hav +1's my whoe setup with regard to the wheels (Volk 18x8.5). I stayed with 235/40/18's because I have coilovers on the car and had some rubbing with the Toyo's at 245/40/18.
The A046's are awesome and the Toyo's were not even close to the way the car handled from the factory even with the coilovers. The handling is now stronger than stock with the Neova's.
I took a sweeping on ramp extremely fast at 3:00 AM in dry conditions with no one around with the Neova's and had not one lick of sidewall give or tire squeal. The car stayed planted and was totally controllable. I was in Tarmac mode at the time.
The owners card says to not store the tires in temperatures below 14 degrees Fahrenheit due to the compound of the tires.

Sloop … glad to hear the Neovas feel on par with the A046s! I have a set in the garage waiting for some rims I've had on order, which should arrive any day now. The Neovas appear to have a nice square shoulder design with a really flat sidewall similar to the A046.
I was hoping the stock Advans would last until the new rims arrived, but I had to replace them as one started to cord. I went cheap with the Yoko AVS ES100s. What a sh!tty-*** tire. The crisp turn-in and razor sharp edge-to-edge weight transfer was drastically affected because of the spongy sidewall of the ES100s. I noticed this immediately. Lesson learned for me … you get what you pay for. I can't wait to try out the Neovas!

That is too bad those expensive of wheels have that sticker peeling off, I don't understand that.
Please rate your wet traction with these tires.
Damn why the $20 price difference, it isn't that much more rubber!?!?
235/40WR17 : $188
245/40WR17 : $208
These better nice, they appear to be a tire that someone would buy if they want Advan performance although want bigger or different wheels so they can utilize a wider tire.
