What tire size for 18x9 with 34mm offset?

What tire size for 18x9 with 34mm offset?

I have some 18x9 Volk SF Challenge with a 34mm offest on Tein Flex coilovers. What size tire are you guys running with these? I am thinkinh 245x40x18 or 255x35x18.

what are your purposes? are you going to be doing alot of highway driving? drag racing? autox?

i run same size & offset (actually 35mm, bit close) with 255/35-18 pilot sport2. no clearance issues before & after lowering it. bear in mind that not all tire of same size are created =. check tire racks full specs and they will give you the ACTUAL with of the tread and section. for example the pilot 255 is 9.7", a r-compound 255 tire i checked (might have been dunlap supersport) was 11"!

I run a 255/35 on an 18/8.5 rim w/ the tein flex. There doesn't seem to be any clearance issues that I can see but you may want to be careful on how far you lower your car.

255/38/18 is probably your best bet without any rubbing issues. 265/35/18 is closer to stock rolling diameter, but you might run into the inner fender lip in the rear and possibly the spring perch in the front.
