Tein Flex owners please read

How do you like your coilovers? How do you like them when cutting turns , do you wish they were a bit stiffer? Might be getting these so if you can share your experience it would help.

I have been running them now for about 4 months, and I LOVE them. I compromised on the flex, when I was looking at the RA1's. I found a set used, for a SCREAMING low price, and couldn't pass them up.

Do I think they are too stiff, no, I think they are about right for a car, which performs double duty as street / track car. I alter the setup based on what I am goign to be doing. Meaning, if I am going to the track for the next few weeks, I will tune the suspension differently. I keep the car about 27.5 inches off the ground (fender to ground) when on the street, which looks a littlle more aggressive than stock. But, I don't have to worry about dragging, which is nice.

For track, I go between 26 and 25 depending on elevation changes, or other factors (see my other post).

Overall, i really like the quality, fit, and finish of the Tein. However, there are alot of folks who claim the Buddy Club is more refined, and has the same flexiblity as the Flex, with more aggressive settings for track. About the same price, too.

I'm debating between the flex and jic. I autox once a month and roadrace hopefully more than a couple times a year. I'm liking the flex because of the edfc.
