Tein Camber Plates

Can anyone confirm that the tein camber plates will fit with stock struts. A local vendor keeps saying they won't fit. I got this part number (PAR-5231PFR) off another vendor that says it will fit. What to do!, I"m confused now.

the rears are not camber plates...no much point to having them back there IMHO

ys the tein works with stock struts up front. be careful though, might raise your rideheight

Make sure you replace the bolts in the plates with something better, maybe grade 8. I had some guy torque them down at the alignment shop, and one broke trying to get it out. I am replacing mine, so I don't have to worry about that anymore. I finally had to heat the plate a little to get the others loose enought to remove.

Lesson learned, tell them to not gorillamatize them when they tighten them.

ther really is not need to replace the bolts.....if you look at factory specs, the upper strut top bolts don't get alot of torque to begin with. It's the center nut on the strut that is supposed to be very tight, the others are mild by comparison

I don't mind the extra raise for ride height. Car is too low anyways. Just to make sure guys. This is the correct part number right? : PAR-5231PFR.

Oh and z1 can you pm me price shipped to 92833.

Thanks, David

I would classify that under things we know, and things the guy who did my alignment didn't. I just hated to have to waste track time, finding another bolt, while others were driving. Hoped to have the others avoid this, should it happen to them.
