break squeal

break squeal

Hey guys, is it normal to have the breaks squal during relatively soft breaking on my MR withonlint like 1800 miles? it sounds alot like the sound pads make when theyre worn out...

also does eveyrones chair squeak alot?

Oh yeah. I think its perfectly normal to have a slight brake sqeek at low speeds with high performance breaks... If you ever step into a 6 speed Infiniti G35 with the brembo's, you'll understand. It wont happen at speeds over 15 mph right? Because then there might be a problem.

cheap mitsu pads. put some hawks or ferrodo it goes away

i had brake squeal on my front passenger side and i took the rotor out and spray some anti squeal on it and it hasnt' come back for two weeks now. i also have some anoying rattle comming from the pasenger side seatbelt pannel.

i have the hawk hps pads on my car right now...and i cant wait to get them off....they squeak so damn loud its annoying....everytime i brake someone or EVERYONE looks at me...it gets kinda old...performance or not....you need ALOT of anti-squeal stuff for them

Did you remove the metal shims from the original pads ,they are what keep
brakes from making noise. I have been using Hawk HPS and rotor pro rotors
for 5000 mls. no proplems, Talk my neighbor into using the same set up
on his 97 vette no problem ,and he is frigen nut. Car has 24000 mls on it
