Best Suspension setup??

Hey all,

I'm wanting to do my suspension next on the evo.

I just purchased a set of ZEAL v6 coilovers.

Now what else should/can I do for even better/stiffer handling?

Which strutbar? Which sway bar? Which other suspension bars are good?

Any specific setup that works better?

Thanks in advance!

There's also Perrin, Cusco, and the one I have, Progress. You may find that you do not need one. Try experimenting with your Zeal's and different spring rates first.

I have a 24mm 4 ways adjustable whiteline rear sway bar and cusco adjustable sway bar brackets on the front. My car handles like its on a rail...I love it with the zeal v6. Also, you might want to look into some Cusco under braces (ver 1 and ver 2)....these will make the body more ridge and you will notice a better response.

On the side note, I personally wouldn't get hotchiks because they tend to break under high load of stress since they are hollow.

Thanks,
Tom

we've used the Cusco and Progress bars with great results....skip the Cusco front brackets

The most dramatic changes, aside from sways, come from the front Type 1 and Type 2 lower arm bars as well as the rear strut brace, v brace and trunk brace

Adam, those will work nicely w/the zeal's?

If so, can you do a package price on them?
I wont be buying right now as im out of cash, but in the very near future I'll definately be buying.

I was looking through your website, and on the cusco sway bars i see there are 2 sizes available for front and rear.

front comes in 21mm or 25mm

rear comes in 18mm or 23mm

Which size is better to go with in both front and rear?

Najeeb, don't do the roll bar yet. It will help you rotate a little bit during turn in but you will sacrified some exit corning speed/ traction because it will lift your rear inside tire. Have your coilover tuned first. Its always a good thing to upgrade your suspension one by one so you know what works and what not.

Najeeb - the bigger ones..the smaller ones are for gravel/dirt use
