I've been considering rotorpros for a while as I am in need of changing out my stock rotors soon.

Any advantages to slotted with this specific product? Just curious to find out if rotorpors slotted is any better or worse than their flats.

People fail to recognize that probably 75%+ of all items we buy nowadays are coming ouot of some factory in China. Then they get the proper labeling, and off they go to the distributors, to the customers.

A friend of mine is a manager of a large buisness.....wont say who. They did some investigation and found out that the SAME company is making coilovers for tein, stance, megan racing, apex-i, buddy club, I could go on!! So now they are considering marketing a set of coilovers in their own name.....since its all the same parts, why not!!

I just dont get too excited about parts unless I know first hand that these are made in house like AMS. ETS. Buschur, etc. Everything else is from china or mexico, so cant blame anyone for buying the cheapest ones!

Search the "How-To" section?

Honestly, it isn't terribly hard. Get the wheels off, then there's a codder pin and a 34mm nut. I'd suggest having a huge breaker bar or impact. Once you get that nut off, it's a matter of getting the brake caliper off the rotor to slide the rotor out.

Mostly, it just takes some finagaling to get them to slide out of there. I'd suggest tapping the pins in the caliper out to get the pads out before you remove/change the rotor - will be easier with the caliper mounted solidly.

As for RotorPros. I've thought about them, but I feel sketchy about it. It sounds like it could be hit/miss, but I have also heard good. So IDK.

Have you ever hear anything bad about them? I have been using these rotors for years and they're still going strong.

!
It is pretty common for a company that makes multiple products to outsource the MANUFACTURING of a product. That said, it doesn't mean that if one factory makes both megan and tein products that they are going to be the same quality. Most companies will design a product and have it produced to certain specifications. Meaning they give a company the design and specifications of materials and have them create the final products based on how much they invest. Two completely different quality products can come out of the same factory depending on how much they pay for materials and QA and in turn that higher cost is passed to the consumer.

I have had the zinc coated slotted/drilled and have had no issues with warp, fade, or cracks. They are indeed Centric blanks. I have been very happy and have had them for about 8k or so.

Stoptech is a branch of Centric. I have RotorPros waiting to get on my car and my buddy uses them on his EVO as well. We both track our cars ...

Stoptech does not offer blank rotors for the EVOs.. at least its something im not aware of. We offer the stoptech slotted version for $399 included shipping.

Not sure where you found stoptech replacements that are 2x more than rotorpros..

Just FYI for most people...
http://www.stoptech.com/company_info...owerslot.shtml

And I'll be receiving my rotorpros (centric) zinc plated oem-type rotors and hawk pads soon.
A friend of mine couldn't even believe the price I paid for the whole package. Definitely cheaper than any vendor on here.
