How much life is left in them ???
It's normal to see the "spider" surface cracks after track days. It's from the extreme heat and cool down cycles they go through.

If you start seeing cracks that go from the hub to the edge then they need to be replaced.

They need replacing when the rotor gets too thin.

The theory is...

The slotted rotors, although they look cool, become very hot. The slots swipe the brake pad at each pass keeping them clean, but that reduces pad wear and builds heat on the rotor.

The drilled rotor gives heat cracks a place to start, and don't do much for weight savings anyway.

Don't you mean that the slots increase pad wear.

The slots increase pad wear... they don't last as long.
I toasted a set of Project Mu's at the track in one 2-day weekend at Pocono.
Of course, I was not impressed with the pad either.

I'd say normal when track pads are used & the driver uses the brakes. My Stock Brembo Rotors look like this:

I have these on my car and the first thing I noticed when I put them on was that the front and rear faces of the discs are not the same thickness. The stock Brembo blanks are.

I don't track my car so I can't really comment on their performance under constant heavy braking conditions.

For the price they're impossible to beat, but if I had the cash I'd opt for the Brembo blanks.

I actually went through the brembos quicker than these.

Keep spending more money on rotors and I will keep saving money.

Centric owns stoptech. These centric rotors are the same rotors as stoptech. You can argue with me until the cows come home. They are the same. I don't need to prove it to anyone. The ones that know, know.
Centric has 2 rotor lines they import -

120 and 121 - 121 is the 'econo' line - so you can probably guess which one is used where.

Buy the 121 and use them up - although I would guess the price is going up - (retail margin may be crushed to zero - but chinese rotors are continually increasing in price)

I've had the same set of rotorpro dimpled, slotted and vented rotors on my EVO for a good 40k miles and have zero problems. Just started really 'tracking' my car last year and after 3 sets of pads (2 DS2500 and one set of Project Mu which suck BTW) the rotors are finally starting to show their life.

the cracks don't connect any of the dimples or slots so I'm going to continue using these until spring. I already have their replacements sitting in the garage and they are another set of RotorPros rotors, only this time I just got slotted. For around $300 shipped for all four corners you can't beat it.
