How is the noise with the those rotors & pads?

i'd like to see it happen but i don't think they'll waste their time. gyrodisc, pf, baer, and now i hear wilwood... stasis, ap, they all make replacement two piece rotors. this is not even mentioning the japanese companies like project mu and endless.

but i would like to see it happen cuz outta all these other brands the stoptechs would be the lightest. if they can make an oversized rotor weigh 13.4 or whatever pounds... then imagine what they could make a stock sized rotor weigh... sigh... you could save 10 pounds per corner or more.

After the HPDE at Blackhawk, I've got a bit of squeaking, but it is coming from the rear brakes. Those also have Ferodo pads, but the stock rotors. No noise from the front.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you know that we're listening to your feedback. If we see enough demand, we'll make them. If we did this, pricing would most likely be similar to what we sell for the 350Z Track Model and Brembo equipped G35's. They wouldn't be cheap, but they would be the best on the market. Here's a link:

http://www.stoptech.com/press_releas...drkrelease.htm

The main issue however is that our minimum run would need to be in the hundreds of sets to justify the design and tooling costs. If you guys and a couple hundred of your close personal friends want to place a non-refundable order, we can press this issue forward for sure.

Seriously though, we are keeping our hand on the pulse on this product. Keep giving us feedback. Thanks.

Question are these the "Aero Rotors" or just normal slots... i have the Stoptech Kit on my 3G and the Aero Rotors are awesome.

All of our 2-piece Direct Replacement Kits with aluminum hats are AeroRotors...so yes, if we made them, they would have our proprietary internal vane design (same vanes as the rotors in our BBK's).

I'm glad you're enjoying your kit on your 3G, thanks for the compliment.

I wonder what the replacement cost is for just the rotor alone without the hat.
