Yeah I had problems with rotor cooling at my 2 day driver school and more or less scorched the rotor......if there is something that is going to be much more reliable i;d buy it in a second.....the last thing you need to be worrying about in a racing application is your brakes overheating

Sorry for the thread jack.
it's not as if there's a shortage of oem replacements or bbks. it's that stoptech needs to make THE one that is the tops. unless you're insinuating somehow that stoptech is makin' them for you... then... i don't get why you decided to jack this particular thread.

No I am not insinuating anything. Stoptech told us the same thing.
We have outsourced them to another company.
Stoptech is not the only manufacturer on the market that is competant.
Also, I mention the OEM replacements with the two other systems we are working on. Not a focus on one type or another. I didn't know that we had to stop making a product because others have made them. Sorry

On the subject of two-piece rotors...

RacingBrake saw the need for a two-piece rotor for the EVO, the rotors have arrived a few weeks ago and are ready to ship including our patent pending designs. Features our Center-mount design which has a balanced stress load on the rotor and air inlets for both inboard and outboard. Convergent Vane, which increases airflow and turbulence to make the disc cooler.

Just an FYI, stoptech has won a couple of big contracts to supply BBK kits for saleen and another mustang tuner so that is their primary focus right now i'm sure. i hate to say it but that will probably put any plans for evo 2-piece rotors further on the back burner.
