stock wheels, no rubbing at all. ride is a little harsh they say. I used to have a 95 prelude that was lowered. Nothing is more harsh than a honda lowered.

I have 18 X 8.5 Volk CE-28's with a 235/40 without any rubbing. I did have 245/40's and it would rub the top of the front fender lining when I hit a large enough dip. It also rubbed when I turned too sharp.

Post pics of those 245/35's. I wouldn't mind having some of those.

I am lowered on 225/40's and that's fine, though I'd like to go w/ at least a 235.

I was looking at 235/35/18... but the only tires that i could find in that size were the gforce t/a and the pzero's.

Who makes 245/35/18?

I wouldn't do a 235/35 if you like your wheels. I don't think there would be that much sidewall. 235/40 is just fine.

I run these with stock wheels. No rubbing, perfect ride height.

steve.

what do the hotchkis cost? how much is the drop? how do they ride? and finally, do they actually improve the handling of the car?

thanks

i've been in hotchkis and they feel very good, no worse than stock really, the drop is really really nice looking, not too low but just enough to fill the wells, and i have heard and read that the hotchkis actually do slightly improve handling.

I myself, would never buy springs for an evo unless they were garaunteed to improve handling, there is no point in ruining an amazing suspension setup.
