A few questions...

Just installed GSC S1 cams and a 3 in ETS front mount, and I have a few questions. I wanted a lope in the idle but it seems a bit much for S1's, as you can see bumped the timing at idle to 8* and not much change. Should I change the target idle rpm? Also I have not done any WOT pulls since the cam install last night and want some feedback on my map before I do. Mods are in the sig, 91 octace, 21.4 psi. Please let me know your thoughts fellas, thanks

Raising idle timing smooths the loop away.

Should I adjust the ISCV tables instead? Reading through Merlins' ECUflash manual pretty much says don't touch the target idle do the ISCV, but I would assume raising idle would fix it, is that what you do? Also would you glance at my spark map and see if you think its okay to do some WOT runs? I know I'll have to make adjustments after the cams, I just want to make sure it is a safe starting point. Thanks for your help.

Increasing timing and increasing idle both smooth away the loop.

If you want loop, then do the opposite.

Ditch the HKS bov and get one that works with the Evo. 99% of your problem will be solved.

Sounds good, but i have not had any problems with it so far, would it affect idle? Does my timing map look safe to do wot runs and make adjustments for the cams? Which bov works the best? Thanks for the help.

The HKS bov is the worst for the evo. Search this site and you will find all kinds of proving evidence. Best is the 9 metal one or the APS dual vent.

You should be ok to do some pulls with that timing table.

Make sure you get your O2 spot on before you start upping the timing.

Its okay. it might get a lil knock but nothing bad. if you wanna be safe, just lower it a couple degrees across the board.
