I have been informed today that Buddy Club have gone out of business in Japan, and that Rays have a massive backlog of orders on their rims that will see delivery in December, even for rims on order now. Can anyone confirm this?

I ordered some 18 inch 57Pros in June, and was expecting delivery in a week or two. My reseller was informed late last week about the Buddy Club situation and told that my rims would consequently still be 4 months away!

I then had the official Australian importer call me as a courtesy, and he confirmed this and said that it's not just our market that is affected, it's everyone else including the USA too.

So i've cancelled them and will be fully refunded, i'll look elsewhere and hopefully find something i'm happy with.

Anyone else having probs?

 

none of the vendors can, or are willing, to chime in on this?
