Wow. That sucks. I'm sure Detroit roads are WORST than Taipei roads and the Hotchkis on my car have been excellent. I drive everywhere with my car, though some messed up roads and construction areas. Ask anyone... Detroit roads scare people.

Even took it to track school and it felt great with the stock struts. With the right alignment the car drives very well and my Advans have no bad wear areas that I can notice. It feels a bit softer than stock and the stance looks great. I like them better than the S-Tech for the fact that they don't look too slammed in the front.
I'm sure coilovers would be awesome to have but for the "poor" peeps around, Hotchkis are a great upgrade to the Evo. For daily driving and occasional track use.
