Tein S Tech Install Question
Over the weekend my friend gave me his old Tein S Techs and strut setup after he installed a full suspension on his car and this weekend I installed it. To install them here's the steps I took.
On the back, unbolted the spring and the lower control arm, removed old spring/strut assembly, put in new spring/strut assembly. Everything golden.
On the front, unbolted 2 main bolts and top bolts, removed spring/strut assembly put in new assembly. Everything golden.
Now, I know I need to get an alignment, I'm going to do that this weekend, I have 2 issues though.
1. Whenever I turn left, there is a noise that comes from the front left spring, it sounds as if something is rubbing, but I know that it is not it, it almost sounds like the spring is is having trouble compressing or something, hard to explain. My friend said this happened to him and it went away after the spring got worked in a little.
2. The steering doesn't seem to be as s8harp anymore, used to be when I turned the wheel wanted to snap back into place, and it seems to float a little more, is that just because I need an alignment?
thanks
