Ive got projectU pads on mine and intalled them my self. 1yr and 1 Nurburgring trip later still got lots of meat left. IMO your gonna get opinions from all pads good or bad. Your just gonna have to jump out and try some.

That along with a full tank of gas and a paid lap dance (with beautiful lady of course)
You can do the pad change in < 2 hr. Good luck.

Ridiculous.
I'm back to finding aftermarket pads and a new installer.
Suggestions?

There is a guy locally who had his pads replaced at a local dealership for an outrageous amount, he ended up having bad squeeking a few days after, they hadn't even lubed the sides of the pads. Do it yourself, and if your not sure I'm sure one of the guys local to you will be willing to help out. Its an easy job.

If your rotors are warped, I'd get a set of replacement rotors from rotorpros (get the blanks, not slotted/dimpled -> ok, if you have to, get slotted but not dimpled
, and get them unpainted). If you get the stock rotors cut, yes they will last a little while longer, but when you start cutting (turning) them, they will just warp that much faster.Total bill for a complete brake overhaul should look something like:
~$200 - Hawk HPS front and rear pads (assuming street use here)
~$300 - Rotorpro front and rear rotors
~$ 32 - Motul RBF 600 brake fluid (two containers) to flush your brake system
~$ 10 - miscellaneous stuff (i.e. clear hose to drain BF, breaker bolt for rotors, etc.)
------------
~$542 + one afternoon in your garage = complete brake job on your Evo ... all shiny new parts

I got the same rotors (dimple and slotted) but haven't put them on yet. I don't think you can get them for $300 anymore. How are the rotors holding up? I hope they will be okay for street use and occcasional track. Hope the wheels won't start to shake after a bit too

When you install the slotted rotors, it seems that they pickup less brake dust if the slots don't turn into the pads, and with the rotorpros either direction does work, since the internal vanes on the rotors are not directional.
