That time of the year, snow is approaching!!!

Hey everyone! As much as we don't like to admit it summer is ending and snow is just around the corner. Last year the Midwest got hammered about a week before turkey day, and it was snowing out west last week already!

I would recommend placing an advance order when you are sure of your selection, rather than wait until you are in the midst of the snow season. This will help assure the product you want will be available for you, and likely get it to you ahead of the snowfall. For items that are not in stock yet, our order process does not charge your credit card until the product leaves our warehouse, so no advance charges will appear on your monthly card statement until your order ships out to you.

All of the snow items we carry for your vehicle can be viewed here:
Winter Fitments Simply enter the specifics on your vehicle’s make, model and year, and my site will display every option we have available that fits your vehicle properly.

If you have any questions or need to place an order, please feel free to contact me. If you are placing an order online, please be sure to reference my name, so that I can watch over the order as it processes.

Some assorted winter Tire Rack pics from last year below

Neal - Why don't you post what works well on the EVO.

I have the Michelin Pilot Alpin and I personally think they are on the EVO during heavy snow but during winter when it's dry. They have a much better steering response than the Conti Extreme (all season tire), but not quite sure why they don't perform well during snow. They'll get me home but it gets nerve racking at times. Any thoughts?

I have the Dunlop Winter Sport M3's and I love them. They drove great in 6" of snow as well as on wet and dry pavement. I actually autocrossed on them because my summer wheels didn't arrive on time. I was only 3 seconds off of the fastest time of the day. Not too bad for a snow tire. The wear looks pretty good as well. They look as though they may last almost 30,000 miles, although in order to keep enough tread for heavy snow I may have to replace them sooner.

I just ordered my Pirelli PZero Nero's last week. Hopefully they won't be too big of a disappointment compared to the advans.

Any all season tire is going to be a dramatic improvement in winter condition over a dedicated summer tire

I got the PZero M&S last year for winter and spring. They are magnificent! You won't be dissappointed.

I def. will purchase this tire again, after it wears down, which won't be for a while b/c of it's good treadwear rating...

Dunlop Winter Sport M3. I had these all last winter and they handled very good in the dry and were unstoppable in the snow.

Great tire to have. Good life, ride, and all season traction. Could handle a beating as well. Won't work on an EVO (under speed rated), but fine for others.

Can you explain this? You're saying all season tires are better than snow tires in the winter?
