I gotta go with either wheels slightly out of balance, or the pads. I had lots of shaking under braking, and was pretty sure the rotors weren't warped, as I hadn't done anything that could have remotely warped them. Dumped the stock pads, got some Carbotech Bobcats, sanded the rotors with some emery cloth, Bingo, no shake. I think pad buildup is the culprit in lots of these shaking issues. I'm sure that some people have warped their rotors, but I basically have the same brake setup on another car that I track, I've gotten those puppies pretty hot, and they're not warped. Just my opinion.

I experienced this same thing. shaking from high speed braking. Light vibration at about 80. It was an out of balance wheel....nothing to do with brakes. Stock brakes still going strong at 40K with mild occasional squeel when light on pedal.
