Wheel damage help

Unfortunately after only 6,700 miles my stock advans were basically shot. So I decided to order some Pirelli PZero's from tire rack because I will be driving in the snow and ice pretty soon. I did not know where to take my tires to be mounted and balanced, so against my better judgement I took them to NTB. I explained to the sales rep what the car meant to me and that I didnt' want the weights on the outside of the wheel, etc. I figured all would be well, but in the back of my mind I knew it really wouldn't be. So I got the Pirelli's on and went home to wash my car. Well to make a long story short, NTB basically ruined my wheels. There are some deep gashes all along the lip of the wheels, one center cap is badly scratched, and the worst of all is by one of the valve stems there is a 2" gash that just made me literally ill. My dad called NTB and set up something where I am supposed to meet with the GM of NTB. I just wanted to ask all of you if I stand a chance of getting the wheels replaced. At least the one that was badly scratched. Where should I go next time to have tires mounted? They were the first place to ever remove the tires off of the wheels. This is why I do all of my own maintenance, but unfortunately I don't have the proper equipment to do tires. Sorry about the long post, but do I stand a chance of getting something accomplished? I can prove that they did the damage, but will that help?

I had a similar encounter with Discount Tire where they managed to damage 3 of my wheels mounting tyres. The first thing they will offer (if they offer anything) is to repair the wheels. It's up to you whether you take that option or not but you must remind them that you need some loaner wheels while it's being done. Discount Tire didn't have any loaner wheels for me so they checked what they had in stock at the warehouse and we came to an agreement where they bought me a set of hyper black 5Zigen FN01rCs. Make sure they don't charge you for remounting the tyres whatever path you take . They are unlikely to buy you new stock wheels though as they're very expensive.

When you go there just be polite and enforce how much the car means to you. Let them know that you won't be pushed around and you should be OK.

Just an update... NTB is buying me two new OEM Enkei wheels! The guy could not dispute the marks, so even though I felt I deserved 4, I'm happy with two.

Good to hear, TFT (Town Fair) destroyed two rims putting them on my Eclipse and waited a month to find me new ones. I had to drive with the OEM 14" rims for 4 weeks. Stay away from TFT.
