Hey guys, newbie here, anyways I have been dieing to know this and no1 has any idea...this is my situation...I was going to buy a leftover 2005 Evo VIII and so I went out and purchased Tein S-Techs, but I saw the Evo IX and I just needed to order 1. So now that I am getting the IX i was wondering if the suspension is the same...so can I use the 05 s tech springs on the 9?? thank in advance!

probably, it's still the CT9A chassis

 

if its Bilstein shocks then not. will ride funny.
may even break the shocks.

Yes! But for sure not with the Bilstein shocks. I had 3 different sets of springs. non of them drop the car rite, and they just ride funny when you push hard. maybe that is another reson WORKS RALLY makes different spring just for Bilstein shocks.
