Question Need help choosing Evo rims

When I get my Evo I want to replace the stock rims with some aftermarket rims. Right now, I'm torn between the Enkei WRC Tarmac Evo 17x8 and the Volk TE37 17x8 white .
They are both about the same price, anyone knows how much they weight? The WRC Tarmac Evo also has a more expensive forged version, what is the advantage of the forged version?

Actually, is the stock rim better than either one of these rims?

If you were to choose any set of rims for around $2000 for an Evo what would you get?

forged?

I believe forged is lighter because the metal is stronger therefore it takes less metal.

Well, I purchased the Tarmac Evo's. Too bad my car hasn't come in yet If they are good enough for team Mitsubishi Ralliart , they're fine in my book. I'm sure the Rays are lighter though.

Exactly... Usually cost much more than cast wheels

BBS makes high counter pressure wheels which are better than cast but not quite as strong as forged.

Forged is nice b/c it is not only less weight (typically), but it is stronger but more expensive.

I'd go with the Volks. They look sweet!

I think with the blue Evo 8 the 5 spoke won't look busy enough. I think the 6 spoke Volks look the part. I actually like the stock wheels, just not that color, composition, or graphics on it.

If you want to show off the Brembos, go with 5 spoke.
They are easier to see thru.

I asked VividRacing.com and z1auto.com, and they can get it from Japan, but s4awd got it from France and it's cheaper.

Besides the TE-37s you should also consider the Buddy Club P1, they are very slightlty lighter and not everyone has them.
