I have a set of the kdw (original tread).. they don't make the kdw2 in the oe tire size. I like them fairly well but not near as good as the stock Advans, but they do really well in the rain.. Hope this helps some

I've driven both of them, what are you looking for out of your car and what do you want to know?

Yeah KDW2 would be a better tire for every day driving.

Yeah KDW2 is a better bet than. KDs are great summer tires, but that's it.

Or you can save a few bucks and use g-Force Sports for daily driving. That's what I did. I'm happy with them.

Just bought a set of KDW2. I really liked the Toyos T1-S I had, but they stopped making them and I can't find the T1-R's. I hear a lot of good things about the KDW2, but the only issue with them is that they can be noisey.

I run the KDW2's in 255/40/17 size on stock rims and suspension, love them, look damn beefy, great sidewall stiffness, smooth ride quality, and just rip up the pavement in all conditions that I have put them through.

Any opinions on the KDW2s compared to the Falken Azenis 615s?

KD's---> dry only(hence KD= killer dry traction) but a kickass tire, sticky, sticky tire.
KDW2's--->dry and wet only(hence KDW=killer dry, wet traction) sticky, goofy but cool tread pattern (stock on srt4's) a very good tire, but not as sticky as the KD
KDWS--->do yo see where im going here killer dry, wet, snow.

depends on what they are used for, call neal at tire rack, these guy test the tires and they know just about everything.
