Alignment question - Caster a bit off, Cupped tires
I recently had my advans swapped for some M+S rated tires for this winter. While they were at it, I had them check my alignment.
My rear right toe was .03 (.01 off from the limit), which they corrected. However, my front left's caster is now 3.0, which is out of spec. Bottom line question: does it matter? And if so, is there any way to fix it?
I know it is not adjustable from the factory... but then, why would making a change to the toe in the rear impact it? It was within spec before. I was standing right there watching them work on it. They touched nothing but the rear end.
Here's all my final readings:
Also of interest, my Advans were "cupped". Only 2444mi on the car when I took it in. They were making a sort of rumbly noise. New tires/alignment are definately smoother.
Anything else look out of whack?
It's just street driven for now.... waiting a while before I do anything interesting to/with it. ;-)
