Have been recommended this to replace my current shocks and springs. Does anybody have any comments/input?

I would go with HKS or JIC.

Zeal Suspension

I run B6 function coilovers on my WRX wagon. The quality of them far surpasses JIC. Zeal is a very pricey coilover though. They do have coilovers for the new EVO 8 check out endlessusa.com I think they are looking to test fit coilovers on a 8. Word of warning though.. Zeal is a track bred coilover and is not a cushion like ride for every day driving.

thanks, this is for a TME not an 8. However, the TME does go to the track a bit.

Current suspension is Tein, were good when they were new but are tired now.

The Zeal coilovers are awesome. A full race setup that can be fully tuned to your specs. I would only buy if you are a aggressive driver with a deep pocket! We supply Zeal so give us a call or for any questions on suspension.

Thanks

isnt the stock suspention good enough... i was just thinking maybe a pro-kit 1" drop just for looks and not put much more stress on the shocks or ruin the driveability so much

My suspension is getting sent from Japan right now. Need an extra edge, there are a couple of Porsche guys that are getting better and I have to keep up (not counting the GT2 of course).

The stock suspension is OK, but you can do much better

Zeal does not make suspension, they are the US importer for JIC. JIC=Zeal=JIC.

You could not have been more wrong!
ZEAL=Endless

Zeal is just the suspension line by the Endless company in japan which is famous for their brake pads and brake products.

thanks for all the comments. my suspension should reach me anytime now. a friend of mine has been corresponding with Junichi Tanaka (yup, of the yellow car fame) and they are sending me a set with the same specs as what they use.

if i don't post here anymore, it will be because I have shaken my brain loose

judging by the pictures on roadracings site and endless's site they look like the same strut, right down to the adjuster

Looks like someone has licensed, or sub-contracted to, some other companies design.
