dude, do some research... all non tarmac rally car tires are 15" or 16"

tahoeacr, I would love to see more pics of your rims. In particular a closeup on the front caliper fitment (side and top views)

How much did you end up spending on those rims?

I think they were $1850. Bought them over a year ago so I can't remember exactly. Group N brakes(used) and cheap rims can be had for a little less. I didn't want to bother changing calipers all the time. Hope these pics are what you want. I took these today so, the rims look like crap. We got a couple of feet of snow. The best part was I could easily push snow over the hood. Stop and keep going. Have yet to even get close to getting stuck.

I'm looking for Mitsu. part # of the bracket for Small Brakes (EVO RS) kit. The braket that goes between the Caliper and the Spindle and goes around the rotor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

First of all, you need to read the rule book of the sanctioning body you're going to run under and figure out what class you're going to run. This will narrow down what brakes you are allowed to run. I'm not familar with the CARS or NASA rules, but here's the breakdown for R-A:

PGT: You can't change the front brakes, and you'd probably end up having to run 17" wheels, which has been done but you have more chance of bending a wheel and are limited to snow tires.

GrN: There's two homologated brake kits, the hydraulic-mechanical units from a Euro RS and the recently homologated Brembo brake kit. You can get the Euro RS brakes from Z1 and here's a link to the Brembo kit: http://www.ralliart.it/special_parts/section_10.pdf The Brembo kit is about $5K for the fronts.

Open: You can run any brake kit, so in addition to above, there's the AMS Lightweight brake kit, there's AP Racing kits based off the CP3720 calipers or Ears in the UK has an Alcon kit that uses Alcon Advantage calipers, or as a last resort you can custom fab a kit of your own. $1000 for AMS, $2800 for Alcon and $3500 for AP Racing.

The rear calipers clear a 15" wheel just fine, so you don't necessarily need to change them out.

Here's my car with a custom Wilwood front brake setup, but it's nearly identical to the AMS kit:

You can see the rear OEM calipers clear just fine.

There is no bracket, they are lug mount calipers just like the Brembos, and bolt up directly to the steering knuckle.
