265/35/18 or 18 x9.5 offset ?

On stock suspension, will these tires fit on these wheels w/ no rubbing/rolling of fenders required?

trying to decide whether to go w/ 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 on these wheels

thanks!

If it helps any, I've done 275/35-18 hoosiers on stock MR suspension with 18x9 35mm CE28n's. Used a 5mm spacer in front to clear struts and had to slightly roll rear fender lips.

John,

No, not lowered. All stock. But a friend's red evo has black 18 9.0 35mm LE28n's with 275/35 18 hoosiers on espelir GT (red) springs. I think he's got 5 mm front spacers as well.

I run an 18X9.5 with 265/35/18 tires using an 8mm front spacer and aftermarket coilovers. Offset of the wheels is 40mm.

Have any of you tracked your cars with the 18" wheels? I'm looking at tunning 18 x 8.5 265, 35, 18 RT 615's on the street and using my stock 17's w/ slicks on the track. I'm also looking at installing some Tienne springs and a rear sway bar to take some of the snap out as you recover from a slide. Any advice?

-did you have to roll the rear fender lip & what tire was that? some 265s are wider than others...

Im in the same boat bro. pretty much to fit that perfect sized wheel your most likely gonna need spacers up front, and all the fenders rolled depending on offset. Also from my understanding stock suspension has quite a bit of travel to it so with out stiffer spring rates you might rub. Then again youll need to adjust camber in the front to tuck the tires right. So me also deciding on this size have come to the conclusion that either buy coilovers first with camber plates, or you could get lowering springs and camber plates for the stock strut assembly before you get the wheels. anyways good luck

ended up getting 5ziegen fn10rcs in 18 x 9.5 35 mm offest with 255/3/518s, they fit perfect, no rubbing, i think the 265s would have fit with no rubbing either, once i weart these tries out, i'm getting 265s next time

you cannot run 265 on anything from +30 to +35 without modifying the rear. just do it... it's worth it.
