The price I usually get quoted is 280 for fronts and 270 for rears. That's a cool $550, just for pads.

Yeah OEM Brembo pads are expensive.

I also got quoted on the entire front brake job including replacing pads and rotors and labor for $1200 as well.

Labor was $220 and the rest were parts cost. Ain't nothing of Brembo are cheap!

I'm going with Project MU NS pads.... I say F- the OEM's. Considering my car is merely a daily driver and not a weekend warrior- I need nothing more then to stop lol.

My friend at get it for $180 at the dealership, he knows them thats why.

but I still went with the project MU rear pads that I just install today.

Front I resurface the rotors and bought some of Doug's EBC green stuff pads.

So far they work great, although the front are still sueaking a little but thats because I didn't bed them in properly.

This is such an easy job! I haven't worked on a car in 20 years and i changed all four with Hawk pads for less than $200. Follow the How To/Installations guide for changing pads and they can be done in less than 2 hours.

Unbelievable!!!

Gruppe-S had the pads I was going to get on backorder so I just bought a slightly used pair from a friend, had brakemasters turn the rotors at 10$ a pop, and we did the installation in a total of 3 hours (included driving to brake masters- dropping off the rotors- and then coming back to pick them up). I spent a total of $70...

$1100 - $70 = $1030 in savings lol
