The Z212's don't come in a 19" size, nor do the Toyo RA1's. That's the only decent tire Toyo makes. The others are crap. Their new T1R came in near the bottom of recent tire tests and it's a new design!

Well, there is your problem... who the hell would run over a 17 on a daily driver?

...can't jump curbs with 19's!

Curious who conducted this test, in what size, one what vehicle, if you happen to recall. Thats a pretty bold statement to make considering that they all share casing technology (DSOC-2) and the T1R is compounded harder but not too much more than an RA1.

Grassroots Motorsports I believe...or it was the European car test. There was also the C&D test but I don't think they used the Toyo. I believe they had a 330i in Grassroots test? The RA-1 is what, 100 treadwear and the T1R is around 280 isn't it? Quite a bit of difference there I'd say, irregardless of belt construction. The T1-S was always a horrible tire. Nitto stuff isn't any better.
