Run it as high as you can without losing too much traction during launch.

32psi front, 28psi on the rear works best. Great traction and nice drift without loosing it if pushed over the limit.

i used to never lower my tire pressure till recently. I run 34/32 for normal driving with the stock advanes. i can normaly muster up a 1.8xx 60' with spin most of the time. i lowered my pressure to 27/27 and did 1.72, 1.74, and a best of 1.70 last week. so i guess for me, i works good at 27/27.

You can't really ask this question, because you need to find out for youself. It depends on your power, the track prep, the track temps, the tire temps, the tire tread, etc. All of these factor into what the proper tire pressure is. Start high at 36 all around, and then only drop the pressure if you're spinning. I ran 33.5 all around on Friday night and cut 1.66/1.73/1.73 on my first 3 with no spin. The track cooled off as the sun set, and my car sat still for an hour at a time before my last runs, and then I got 1.89/1.89 on full 1st gear spins on the same tire pressure, so it all depends on the relevant factors.

Lowering tire pressure for drag launches has a very minor effect on tires that are "normal" for an evo8. Our low profile 45 and 40 series tires cannot absorb much innitial shock becuase of the stiff sidewall, and that is what lower the pressure helps with. It helps a little up to a point, and then becomes detremental. probobly in the low 30psi range is where you see no traction gain from going any lower. Getting the tire too low on pressure distrorts the tread shape.

As Warrtalon said, it's extremely track condition dependant. Impossible to give anything buy a generl guidline.
