I guess it is possible that it was pad transfer. I just figured that once the rotors hit a certain temp they were no longer true. Backing off usually helped to an extent but after cooking them to this degree it seemed easier and easier to get that warped feeling again.

I have since upgraded to the Stasis/Alcon 2 piece floating setup. We will have to see how they behave this season
