No rain performance yet, but the tire is breaking very good with no lost in grip.

The Ferodo pads are in and are very nice. I think the tires are too small and need to go to 215

I have keep the stock cold tire pressure and performance is up.

Let me say that when drifting, the tire have a very smooth transition and hooks up very quickly, most probably due to the sidewalls.

Ok guys.

My 4EAT tranny fluid wants changing, so the need for service may affect AWD.

I had some wet driving and it was nerve rattling. I had to drive @ 60km/h and no sharp turns. No problems with the RA1's in wet.

The rain was just come down and no standing water that could really cause problems.

Now the tire is design to run on wet roads w/ no standing water @ high speeds. This seems like a miss print.

I will report back once I can get my tranny oil change.

2007/01/13 Update
Since then, I made changes to suspension and there work very well in the rain, in excess to 80kmph.

WORKS has been testing the R888 for about a year and a half. I was able to get them on my car at SOW back-to-back vs. the RA1 and was very pleased. They took about half a lap more to get some heat into them, but once it was there, they were amazing. It's been a while since the actualy track day, so I can't recall specifics. I would rate them a notch higher than the RA1s though

I just called Works and they said the 17" size won't be DOT approved for at least ~3 months...

You can't. Import only at this time I believe. . .

Several shops and racers have had some samples, but I don't think anyone ever told where they sourced them from . . .
