Ohlins coilovers out of stock. What other choices are there??

Hi guys,

I am in the hunt for some coilovers for my 8MR and was keen on the Viushnu Custom ohlins setup for street and autocross. Currently they are out of stock and I am awaiting an update of when they might become available.

Looking at possible alternatives. Any feedback on what other packages are out there that will offer similar performance to the Vishnu Ohlins setup??

I'm in the same boat. Not sure if Works or RRE actaully have any in stock. From all the research I have done it looks like the KW Variant 3's are the way to go, although you would need different spring rates. Or have KW custom build you race shocks!

Talk to Robi, Chronohunter and John Mueller for their opinions ...
It seems like you can either:
1. Mod the stock MR bilsteins with different springs, etc.
2. Go with DMS suspension set
3. Go with the KW suspension set
4. Go with the Bilstein PSS-9 suspension set (my personal choice)

Chronohunter you will have to PM on this site.

How long have the Ohlins been out-of-stock, months? Anyhow, the stainless KW's would be nice if you live where they salt the roads in the winter.

The Ohlins don't rust either, I realize it's a bit of a moot point right now but I thought I should clarify so people don't get the wrong impression
