tire rotation question
tire rotation question
so yesterday i had my summer tires remounted on my wheels and i asked them to put the tires labeled rear in the front. of course, rather than doing that he put the ones labeled right on the left side, so he just swapped sides rather than front to back. the rotation direction of the tire is correct, so at least he got that right, but should i just switch my front and rear wheels? this would put the tire that was in the right rear to the front left and so on
they also scratched my wheels for me and they're going to fix those. the guy forgot to take the wheel weights off apparently and so there's a scratch along the path of the wheel weight on 2 of the wheels. changing tires is really hard apparently, especially when you have to do it all day every day

They must have taken the tires off the wheels if they swapped sides and the rotation is fine. I would try to figure that out. Also, just take a look at the tread and see if there is much difference from front to back.
And yes, doing something you do every day all day is extremely difficult. Like getting your order right at the drive-thru.

the tires were off the wheels, i had my winter tires on my stock wheels and they took those off to put my stock tires back on. that's the reason i was there at all was to get my summer tires put back on but i asked them to just pay attention to the markings on the tires and put the ones that said rear on the front when they put them on. none of the tires have much wear at all since they only have 4500 miles of not hard driving on them, so i could probably just leave them without too much of a difference
