Please help with deciding on some tires!

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of searching for new summer tires and I've narrowed it down to several that I think I would be happy with. I'm having a really hard time deciding which one to get. I've read tons of tire reviews and asked my friends but I'm still having a hard time deciding so I thought what better place than to ask here.

Basically what I'm looking for is a summer performance tire that will perform and grip well enough where I wont miss those Advans! I'm looking to buy tires asap. Here's what I'm trying to decide on:

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Kumho ECSTA MX
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 or FM 901
Yokohama AVS ES100
Falken Azenie (spelling?)

Just want to say thanks in advance for helping me decide between these!

I've heard nothing but good things about the falken azenis rt 615. I want to get them myself but they don't offer them in a 255/35-18.

If price were not an option I would highly recommend the Michelin PS2. Awesome dry tire and has great response. If your want a very good performer for a little less, look to the MX. I had those on my G and was very very impressed with what I got for the $$. The 9000 isn't that great and the Yoko won't come close to the others.

Go with the Yokohama A048 or the AD07 Neova. The best tires you will ever get as a replacement for A046.

Why not go with the Advans again?

i would go with the neova....but out of ur list i would say the MX's because they are very good value for the money. the evo ride sucks cause its so still so i thing michelin's would be a waste of money..just as good as other tires...but ya pay extra for the comfort and quietness....the MX's should last a really long time... the 615 is the best tire and i would definetly put them on my car but im sure they wear as fast as the stock advans

my .02

cheers

I'm seriously thinking of trying the Advan AO48. Might trade tread life, but would have to be hella fun. Hope they can handle a little of the wet stuff. Neovas are great too.

Not as good as a Ultra high performance tire, but they will be ok in the wet stuff. Have to slow down a bit though

I really like the the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 good wet and dry traction, quit and also wear very well come factory equipped on the 2004/5 Jetta GLI also the Yokohoma AVS ES100 is good dry, wet, quit tire and very nicely priced.Have had both of these tires brand new and would purchase again.

My vote is for the Azenis. The MX tend to have a very soft sidewall, but do grip well.
