would these def be better than the tein s techs.....im thinking i just might hold out for megan coil overs....only reason im debating springs over coil overs is because ill never need that much performance for my driving style...

I have run these on my 8 for about 15k and love them, not sure how much longer the stock struts will last but only time will tell, and they are definitely better than stechs unless you are looking for pure looks...

Can you comment on the ride? Is this much more forgiving than stock suspension on low speed? Do you feel the ride got harsher with the stiffer spring rate? thanks.

Heres my impression, by the way I am very particular on what I use....

Rides firmer than stock but not to the point that your teeth rattle out. For me, it's actually a nice ride, not as much body roll but it is obviously still there as seen on the track picture on a very tight turn

Been to the road course a couple times now and no difference in springs getting any worse of a ride. Out in the street, I have no complaints either whatsoever. Have had them for about 4-5 months now. Scrape every so often with the APR front lip but that is due to my own carelessness. They do not drop the car too much.....IMO

BTW I will only use Tanabes if I only got Springs, I have tried many in the past on many different cars and have never had any that held up without blowing my struts, except for the Tanabes which I had on my 04'STI as well.

slo463, excellent writeup, and we're happy to hear that you are enjoying the springs for what they are intended for!

Are you using the TGF107's on your Subaru? The GF210's have a higher spring rate, but they are engineered not to be so excessively high that they exceed the function of the dampers.

We are looking to use new photos for our website application list, anyone who would like to see their EVO on our website (and free image hosting for their car with the springs) can send their pics to info@tanabe-usa.com!

Very nice. Work VXS, or something like that? I noticed that you are running a different offset on the rear, or is it just me? BTW, what is the wheel size? 18x?? with a ?? offset, and tire size? Very nice!!!!! Makes my volk gtu's look like junk
