Advan A046 = Directional?

Are they directional? Or can i get them switched around on the rim. (*Not rotated, span on the rim so they wear on the other side)

They say direction with a weird triangle, but if that is supposed to be a JDM arrow or something i can't tell which way it is even pointing.

Anyone else?

OE tire is directional. Rotate front/back on same side. Only way to put them on the opposite side is to dismount them from the wheels and have them remounted for the other side.

They are direcitonal but not asymetric. Which means you can have the tires from the right switched with the tires the left, but you can not take the entire rim from the right and bolt in onto the left.... got it?

^ No, i'm confused. But instead of explaining it, do i just need to buy new tires?

Edit: Wait wait wait, i think i get it. I can swap the tires onto the other side because they will still be going the right direction, and they will wear the other side, right?

Right. Your only options for rotation are either swapping the tires on the same side of the car, or removing the tire from two wheels on opposite sides and swapping them to keep the arrow facing forward. The second option will help if you have a lot of wear on the inside of the tire and you wish to even it out.

Yes... as long as you have them dismounted and flipped. And when you say worn, are you talking about the inside edge

wow. i'm surprised they won't. they usually would. the guy you talked to must be having a bad day.

before you do this a lot of times tires with a lot of inside edge wear, the tire will start seperating. you should ask your local tire dealer if they see any of that. also check for steel belts coming through.

How many miles are on the tires currently?

I will ask about the separating. And no there is still a tiny bit of tread left actually, no steel belts showing. I am at 11500 miles.
