GTR Face Offset

I will be purchasing some wheels soon either Advan RS or RG II. I am really looking to get the GTR Face but is +29 offset the best offset you can get on 18x9.

I have talked to some people and they are claiming that they can get 18x9 GTR Face RG II with the offset +35 but I never yet to see a GTR Face with offset +35

I made a search but couldn't really come up with anything.

Thanks

+35 wont' be a flat face, but definatley wont be as concave as a +29 offset.

I believe GTR face means +29 offset. The normal offset of 18x9+35, but the GTR Face means it comes +29 offset.

memo - as mentioned, there is no GTR face in an 18x9 +35 - it will not be concave at all, but flat

GTR face in an 18x9 only comes in 29 or +22

I think the Stream/JUN/Option Z runs them up front

Thanks for the answers. I didn't know this thread was going to get that many replies.

I think the problem is rear. Offset on the front can be lower than 29 but not the back. Correct me if I am wrong.

I wish we can get those wheels from Japan by air in couple of days. This wait time is killing.

I found this pic and the shop who installed the wheels are claiming that, it was a +35 offset. Does this looks like a GTR Face?

A 9 inch with a +29 is at the practical limit of where you can go up front without rubbing. Even people with this size have reported some rubbing on the passenger side inner front fender well when the car is lowered. This can vary a bit depending on front camber, the exact tire dimensions (not tire size), how much you are lowered, etc.

You can get them by air quicker - that is assuming Japan has them. If they do, and you are willing to pay ($425-$500 depending on the weight, etc) they can be here in as little as 4-10 days. Only problem is, often Japan is out of these wheels as well.

As for the picture, either it is an 18x9 +35, in which case it cannot be a GTR face as there is no such thing, or it is an 18x9 +29, in which case it is a GTR face (as there is no "non GTR face" version of that size

I have several pics of my wheels with the GTR face in this thread. I don't think the ones on that yellow EVO have the GTR face. My offset is 29.

Thanks. I have seen those pictures and it looks very nice.

I agree that the wheels on yellow evo doesn't look like GTR after looking at your setup
