You said before that the car had zero rear toe and would pull to the left or right depending on what tires you had installed. If the pull is consistently to one side, besides looking at the toe and camber, also look at the (front) caster. Its non-adjustable, and if there is a large difference, say more than 0.5 degree, between the left and right side, this may cause a consistent pull despite toe and camber being precisely adjusted.

What's up with the steering wheel vibration? Has this been with several different sets of tires? Do you have a bent rim? Out of balance wheel? Badly worn tire(s)?

i'm assuming you really mean 0.18 since most alignment measurements don't go into thousandths on an inch and yes it's normal since the spec range for toe-in on the rear is between 0.05-0.19

You lowered your car. This usually causes camber and toe changes. Some alignment shops will ask for new spec ranges... tell them to use the stock ones and have them set the camber bolts on the front pointing in towards the engine.

Since your car was aligned, even though it was done at the dealership, your car's tendancy to track right is now most likely the road itself, tires, or the wheels. If you've ever slammed a pothole or curb you may even have bent suspension pieces, dealerships typically won't pick up on this unless you mention it.

If you can find a shop with a laser alignment setup you can at least see how the car is aligned even if they can't make the adjustments. If you can find a racer with a camber gauge and toe plates (and knows how to use them) they might be able to help you see any alignment issues.

hello all.. thanks for all the info.. 8- ) I actually too my car to another dealership today, but they are the same company... They said the other dealership was wrong and that they should have readjusted my camber settings at least back to factory settings because it is in fact adjustable.. They realigned everything and readjusted the cambers for free of charge and I contacted the head mitsubishi representative in the area and he told me that he would take care of the situation... 8- ) But yea, I found out that my car still slowly pulled to the right, like the guy said earlier, even though everything might be adjusted correctly, my car can have a tendency to still pull to one side or another because of the tire, springs, or whatever else it might be.. I didn't care if it pulled or not, its the fact that the stealership I usually ALWAYS go to didn't want to adjust the cambers in the rear and lie to me stating that "sorry sir, but your rear cambers are not adjustable from the factory at all and you will need to go to a frame or body shop to get it aligned." When I heard that bs I knew they were trying to screw me over.. Even the other dealership I went to when I got it fixed today told me that they were most likely to lazy to even work on it or just didn't like me for some odd reason.. I wanna give that stealership the worst and most negative word of mouth I can.. I trusted those fawkers for a lot of stuff and thinking back on the **** I been through with them trying to fawk me over so much, I could give a rats *** about them anymore.. Well guys, I appreciate all the info and help.. Man I love evom.net, what would I do without these forums!! I learned almost everything about the evo by reading stuff on here and meeting people from evom as well..

I had 3 free dealership alignments in a row and they all sucked, yeah they were within factory specs but the steering wheel was never centered and it never drove straight. I took it to a good local place and now it drives straight as an arrow and the steering wheel is always centered.

Take it to a decent alignment shop!

Never take anything to the dealership you don't have to as you're always going to get the worst service there. They don't make their money on service which is usually warrenty work which costs them money. They primarily make their money off of selling cars.

You should be able to go into an alignment shop and tell them you want an Evo alignment or at the very least they should ask what your looking for and what you want the car to do. If you want it to turn in faster, have more high speed stability or as in your case just go down the road straight. They should also be able to assess your tires.

If you know of anyone who autocrosses in your area talk to them and they'll tell you the best place to go as alignment is crical to them.

Hope this helps.
