Camber issue..
Camber issue..
Hello all, I just finally got my springs installed and boy they feel great!! The ride actually feels better than stock with these Eibach's and it is lowered! But my problem is, even before I got the springs in, my car was pulling to the right whenever I would let go of the steering wheel on higher speeds and certain roads.. So after I got them installed, I went to get the car aligned and got that taken care of. They told me that they reseted the toe back to 0 as much as possible, which they did after I took a look at the diagram. But they said they couldn't do anything about the rear camber and that it was outta place. I noticed that the car still pulled to the right as when it did even before I got the springs on and before the car alignment..
What could I do to fix this problem?? Because I thought our rear camber isn't adjustable in the first place.. Anybody else have this problem?? Please help me out with some info, thanks!
By the way, would this affect me that bad?? What is the worse that could happen, uneven tire wear or anything else??? I wanna get this fixed asap, thanks!

shiet 8- ( I Just did my alignment at the gay dealership, I paid $60 bucks.... So there are places out there that would do an alignment and fix the camber?? If not, I might see if I could readjust the camber, but just gotta figure out how.... If I do fix the camber, would I have to get another alignment for the rear?? this sucks!! hopefully I didn't waste money gettin an alignment today...
I need help, so does anybody know if our rear camber is adjustable or not.. Mitsubishi keeps telling me that its not, and if I find out that it is adjustable I am gonna go raise hell like I did 2 years ago when some other **** happened.. I ain't paying another 60 bucks to get my car re aligned after I get my camber adjusted.. So does anybody know if I can adjust the rear camber or not, Mitsubishi told me that I would probably need some special kit or go see a shop that deals with car body "frames," and etc... I checked on google and I saw that a few people have adjusted them and some said you can't, I need to know what I could do or not, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Take your car to a specialty alignment shop. In my experience dealerships suck at alignments. See my "worst alignment ever" thread.

yep it is adjustable. I have aligned 5 evos, and adjusted the rear camber on all of them.
front and rear are adjustable for toe and camber. although you _can_ adjust them yourself, there is no way to measure it (well, you can get camber gauges and so on, but they're expensive). Just go to a competent shop and they should have the recommended values for the evo and sort you out.

thanks for all the info guys, This is me Fareastkorean, using my friends account.. So what should I do, could I get my money back from the dealership, because they lied to me and told me that the camber is non adjustable from the factory and I would have to go to a frame or body shop to get it aligned... I felt like I was raped and abused, I want my damn money back, but if I have to, I'll just go to a speciality shop and pay another $60 bucks to get it fixed for real this time!! 8- (
Let's clarify something here. My camber is set 1.5 front 0 toe and .5 rear 0 toe and my car still pulls at highway speeds. Everytime I swap a tire it pulls a different way or at least it seems that way.
That doesn't count the shaky steering wheel that has come and gone through numerous tire changes. It's hard to get it perfect IMO and it doesn't stay that way long IMO too.

The rear is a LOT More adjustable than the front. Also, if you had springs put on make sure the front camber bolts are in the right spot. the should be be in the top holes with the arrows pointing either both outward or both inward.
I talked to a few people today and they told me that the camber is in fact adjustable.. When mitsubishi set my rear toe, they didnt set it to 0, they left it at like .018 or so, is that normal?? I forget what the front was set at, but I will get the readings from the sheet tomorrow or something.. As I mentioned before, my car was pulling to the right even before I got my springs put on an before the alignment I got after I got the springs installed. The car still pulls to the right the same exact way even after the alignment.. So i was thinking, the gay stealership told me that my car needs camber adjustment, but everybody tells me its within specs and won't harm anything enough to notice.. Another guy told me I would prob need another alignment?? But i just got one at the dealer and my toe was set almost all the way to 0 and I thought that was reasonable?? What I am thinking my problem might be now is, uneven tire wear? Could perhaps my rear right tire have bad wear or my front right, making the car pull to the right the same way even before and after I got my springs installed?? I will check my tires tomorrow morn, but I didn't think a tire could make your car pull like that?? Usually when I let go of the steering wheel on a good enough road with a straightaway the car starts slowly pulling to the right instantaneously... This sucks... I dont care much about the tire wear, i just dont want the car to pull, it gets annoying!! ***by the way this is fareastkorean again, just using my friends account since Im at his house right now*****
