Hotchkis vs Tanabe
I have a 05 RS with the Hotchkis TVS-1 setup that I use as a Daily Driver.
I found that the front springs are too soft. On fast dips or large pot holes, the front will bottom out and slam the bump stops. Maybe the Hotchkis springs were not designed for the added weight of the front LSD on the RS.
Has anyone else bottomed out on the Hotchkis?.
Or does anyone know of different spring for the RS?
I am leaning towards the Tanabe's. The additional 50lbs (245 vs 195) in the front may be just the ticket.

I have had my hotchkis springs on for a few months. I like them much better than stock for both ride height and the "ride" itself. I have no comparison of other suspension setups vs. the hotchkis though.
I went from the Tien S Techs to the Hotchkis springs. HUGE difference. No experience with the Tanabe springs...but from what I hear they are pretty good. I'm extremely happy with the Hotchkis springs...good, confident ride on the street. Feels very similar to stock with a little less roll.

I'm pretty sure the Hotchkis lower the car more. I researched a lot before i got the tanabes my first choice would have been espilliers because they lower the car the same amount front and back for better performance but i could not find anyone who had them in stock. I love the tanabes cause they dont lower the car to much and i put 18/9 inch wheels on with no rubbing ever and hopefully the stock shocks will last longer than they would with s techs or hotchkis. hopefully
