Hotchkis or Tanabe GF210

Okay I know this has been discussed a million times. I have used the search option and read through many posts. I still can’t seem to decide on which springs to buy. I have an IX and would like some springs that lower the car but don’t give a horrible ride. Hotchkis or Tanabe GF210? So please dont flame me, just give me an honest answer.

From what i hear they are both great springs...i personally went with gf210 springs and they are great for a normal street driven car...

I have tanabe and a friend has hotchkis and from what we can tell, there's not that big of a difference. They're both fine for regular street use, and neither give a horrible ride. I say go with Tanabe, just based on all of the positive things I've read and personally seen. BTW, I've had them for nearly a year, and no problems, plus I think the ride height is perfect.

Tanabes over the hotchkis. But if you want a spring that is more performance oriented go with Swift or Espelir

THANK YOU for posting this thread!!!! I was going to do it yesterday but didn't have time to thoroughly search to see if there already was one. But now I dont have to worry about that. So far it looks like Tanabes by a landslide. I have heard great things about the Swift and Espelir as RenoEvo has said but I think the Hotchkis and Tanabes are better for the daily driven street car from all I've read this week. Anyway, I want to see a lot of feedback on this as well so here is a morning BUMP!!!

The Tanabes are a good bit stiffer than the stockers at 245F/318R (lb/in) compared to the Hotchkis 195F/275R (lb/in)which have a front slightly softer than the stock 200F/270R (lb/in). Both of these springs have people very happy and some say the difference in feel is minimal, but when you look at the spring rates and how much of a difference there is, I find it hard to believe there isn't a noticable difference. I am still unsure what to do. Good thing this is last on my list for this summer.

I just did a google search and it was the first or second shop that came up. I'll look again and let you know.
