I put on some BF Goodrich g-force sports. The seem to have pretty good dry traction, and good traction in the wet and other conditions as well.

+1 mine are going on tommorow at lunch time. They were reccomended by Gran Turismo East (those that live in georgia probably know who they are) Said most of there customers love them. They were reccomended over the khumo MX's

Treaddepot (www.treaddepot.com) was them for $96 each for 235/45/17

Is that on the stock 17x8? Seems that the tire would be a little too wide as they are specked for 8.5" + rim width.

How Well do they fit?

This has been discussed ad nauseum on other threads. Yes they work great because of how stiff the sidewalls are. There probably isn't another non-R compound tire that would work well in this size on a 17x8.

There are MANY people here running that size on stock 17x8's. You can get away with it with the aznis because the sidewall is very stiff.

I see lots of people recommending things like BF G-Force Sports and such based on recommendations from their local tire dealers and relaying that the tires "grip well." Although tires like these are really good by most comparisons, the stock Advans are between street tires and R-compound, and the list of comparable tires is very short, and inexpensive ones even shorter than that. I believe the OP's question is too vague to answer properly.

The KDWS2 are great with very good dry traction and wet performance and the side wall is stiff. The tires last longer which is a plus

Glad you like them but the only BF Goodrich that can be compared to the Advan is the KD, not KDW, KDW2, KDWS, or Sport. I only mean this in the sense one would never think to write a comparison between the 2 because it is obvious which is better. Anything but the KD and a person who pushes the limits will notice the difference immediately. BF Goodrich routinely advertises the 1.0+ lateral g-force measured on their test Evo with the KD's. No such thing would ever happen with the KDW or KDW2.

The bridgestone KDWs are not all-seasons. They are a summer tire that trades dry traction for wet traction. KD is a strictly dry traction tire.

sidewalls are too soft on this tire to be compared to the Advan.

for the price, you can't do better than the RT615. Getting a tire that's has even a minute performance advantage means spending considerably more money.

Sorry, I guess I'm in my own little world where everything but the extreme dry-weather performance tires are all-seasons, because anything with tread on it is good enough for me in the wet, and all those aqua-channels and such are just overkill. I have winter tires for the sloppy stuff.
