18x9s

I want to know do the rub as well at the fender or the inner area of the tire well.

I know of some wheels that will look absolutely NASTY on the Evo cause i was planning 18x9 or 18x9.5 like the HKS Evo.

PS. I'm not telling.

The 18 x 9 +22 offset Volks do not rub at stock ride height....

Once its lowered - then that may be a different story.....

As far as weight is concerned - we didnt weigh them - but picking them up - they feel really similar to the stocks....

About the +22 offset....

Do the wheels still fit flush? In the pic it looks like it might stick out a hair.

we put Volk SE37s in bronse 18" on our EVO and they look fresh! 18x8.5 is pushing it as far as with goes. pretty sure you'll have rubbing issues with 9" wide meats.

as far as those 9.5" wide on the HKS, i'm sure that they didn't drive it to the show. more likely, it rolled of a trailer. got to admit though, it did look hot.

What seems not to make sense....

The HKS car says it is using +35mm offset. Sean said his car has +22 offset. I think something is off here.

What tire size is on those 18X9's? 245 40's? 255 40's?
