Replacing Ball Joint on Rear Trailing Arm?

Has anyone replaced this balljoint? It's the Rear joint on the hub end of the trailing arm. I was swapping bushings on the control arm and stripped it out putting it back together. I broke a major rule of engagement - don't tighten stuff with your impact gun

Dealer says you need to replace the entire control arm, but the service manual shows replacing the actaul ball joint.

Why did I use that impact gun

Read the manual again - have to replace the entire trailing arm. SUCK!

There goes $280.

Bump for search purposes. I found this thread after finding the hardrace ball joints online. I called and in fact got a decent discount.

They go for $136 a set on their site, I called and got three sets for $313 shipped total.
These are back ordered for obvious reasons and the guy on the phone told me typically 7-10 days for shipping. I placed the order, inquired about the tracking number 6 days later which showed that they had actually been shipped the same day I got tracking but the package showed up 2 days later from Taiwan. All in all, a pretty decent experience from hardrace considering the only other alternative I found was all new OEM arms which come loaded with OEM ball joints at approximately $1000 per side.
