Question front brakes issue.HELP

i have an 05 evo with 9000 miles,i had a brake pulsation like a month ago i went to the dealer they road test the car and they verify the problem, they order me new rotors for the front ,they install the new rotors and the brakes were fine, well now i still have a brake pulsation again i dont know if i have a bad set of rotors or my calipers are hanging up, but some times i feel like the car hold's back like the brakes are applied, and also i get a brake grinding from the rear on reverse every now and then to make the story short im taking the car back to the dealer, have any of you guys have this issue is there any service messages or recall for this problem.

Dude I am having the same problem with my rotors too. I actually got them replaced and within 3500 miles I am having the same problem again. I am about to call the dealer and tell them that the issue has come back but I have not idea what the solution will be. Initially I had thought that a previous dealership had over torqued the lug nuts and thats what caused the issue. The dealer that I have since took my car too agreed and had the rotors replaced as I had said but now that its happening again I have no idea what is going to happen. If I hear anything from them i'll let you know and please vice versa.

That sucks....did they replace the pads when the new rotors were installed? If so, did you break them in properly?

yea you had to replace rotors and pads at the same time because uneven wear on pads can mess up the rotors fast...

they only replace the rotors not the pads.and i think at 9000 miles the brakes are allready ready for anything.

do your rear brakes too

..when I had a wrx, I'd get a grinding noise from the rear when would move in reverse...a front+rear brake job fixed it

This is likely the typical pad transfer issue. Seems that the stock pads on the stock rotors are the usual culprit and many have the same problem. Mine have done it on and off for the last 20,000 miles. Changing to a different pad compound can help. The Ferodo DS2500 seems to be very popular. Do a search or check out the sticky thread above:
