That's why you use these pads at the track only and wash your wheels and car immediately after. And don't drive them in the wet.

The brake dust from the Hawk DTC-60s actually washed off a lot easier compared to the Performance Friction 95.7 pads. So I'm guessing the PF pad dust is a lot more corrosive.

Drive around town on the DS2500s... drive to the track and swap in the DS3000s bedding them in on a warm up lap. When you've had your fun, pop the DS2500s back in and call it a day.

Unfortunately, I think that is the nature of the Evo-inadequate brake cooling! (and yeah, I have the little Mitsu air scoops)

+1 the 900's are awesome. Wears the rotor though compared to the DS2500 but you can't have everything...

If you plan to either do several track days, or you are now running with the advanced group, i would strongly recommend the Pagid Yellows.

After much trial and error on rotors and pads that I can drive to the track and run on the track, I have settled in on the DBA5000 and Pagid yellows.

I would go with the Pagid yellows based on your criteria. They are race pads, but are easy on the rotor and can be driven to the track.

Any of the non-race pads are pretty much a waste of time if you take you lapping days seriously.
