Send me your lowering springs for characterization...

I have access to several servohydraulic mechanical test frames that I can use to accurately measure the spring rate vs the amount of spring compression. If you send me your lowering springs, I can measure the spring rate vs compression, and I can get the load at max wheel travel. We can all find out how the aftermarket lowering springs compare to the OEM springs in terms of linearity and load at max wheel travel. I would like to start with a pair of OEM GSR and MR springs (one front, one rear). I would also love to have the chance to characterize some of the popular aftermarket lowering springs such as Swift, Espelir, Tanabe GP210, etc. The data can be added to the "Spring Rate Chart" thread. Please PM me if you have a pair of springs (one front, one rear) that you can let me borrow for a few weeks.

I work at a mechanical testing lab (I guess that's obvious) in the Pacific Northwest. I prefer not to announce my name publicly for Evo warranty reasons. PM me though, and I will give you full details on who I am, and what I do. If people want to do this, I will make a list on this thread of who is letting me borrow what springs. I only need the springs for max two weeks (including transit time). I am asking to borrow only one front and one rear spring, so I its not like I can keep the springs and put them on my car. My reasons for wanting to do this are:

1) Add more technical info to the forum

2) I may build my own set of springs that don't lower the car quite as much as all the drop springs out there.

Here is a typical result that I can provide on a set of springs:
