Alignment tips for front camber

The first time aligned my car, the closest I was able to get the front camber was -2*08L -1*54R. I played around with my alignment yesterday since I'm lucky enough to have an alignment machine at work.
To get some of the camber out of the L side I raised the car and loosend both of the shock bolts. Then I had someone pull the wheel towards +camber while I snugged the bolts down and I finished tightening them with the car lowered. I left the car lowered for the R side and just loosened the bolts and had someone push towards -camber since I lost a bit when I changed the L side. I was able to get the front camber to L -1*48 and R -1*49 which is all I wanted to run.
With the combination of compression and droop while pushing or pulling you can pretty much get the camber wherever you want it up to -2*10ish, I just haven't been able to make use of that much camber on the street. I hope this helps answer a lot of questions out there.
