Rays Wheel fitment help.

Can someone please tell me if these wheels will fit an 03 evo? I know for a fact that they fit with a +43 offset, these are +35. The guy at discount told me that +35 will push the wheel more towards the outside of the car. Is this correct? Also if anyone knows the weight of these wheels please let me kow.

So is it true that +35 will be pushed further out than +43, I just dont see how a more positive number is closer to the caliper. Can you please explain?

It's not that a more positive number is necessarily closer to the caliper, it has to do with the "face" or profile of the wheel. Volk typically has 2 or 3 different "faces" on each wheel, some are flat, some concave, and some convex. As such, not every "face" is available in every offset, so a deeper dish face will likely sit closer to the caliper regardless of the offset, unless the pad is very tall.

I'd love to explain wheel tech 101, but it's already been done 20 times on here, you'll just have to read some threads to find out.

But to answer your question, the 18x9 +35 should fit and look BETTER than a 18x9 +43.

Stock size is 17x8 +38, by the way.
