I called TireRack, they are only importing the Type C RS in Suby fitments.

I have on hand a set of SSR Type C size 18X8 with an offset of +48. Can somebody tell me if this will fit on my 2003 Evo? Thanks.

Hi,

The Type CRS wheel is available only in gunmetal and bronze. I know Tire Rack has their own colors sometimes (I'm told they paint in house, but I can't confirm this).

For the EVO the recommended fitment is 17x8.5 +30 and I can do them for you for $1899 shipped. They are a 2 piece wheel, with a forged outter cast into a light-weight inner. The total weight is only 16.9 lbs each. Lead time is 6-8 weeks for orders.

We have about 200 wheels coming in our next container, I'm sure there's some CRS on there, and if there are local guys, I'll grab some pics.

The 17x9.0 is available but only in a +36 offset. I can't guarantee that wheel won't rub.

Cheers,

Gary

Nope, pic was taken on my Civic FD rear wheel so you see small brake. To answer another question posted earlier, mine is 17 X 8 offset 41+.

10-15mm spacer would make it happen. Slim chance you'd need a bigger one, but not likely.

Make sure you get a hubcentric spacer!

Thanks, I have a set of the SSR's in 17" for autoX. I can probably use the hubcentric spacers from that set. Do I need to get longer studa as well? This set will only be used for street driving. So the spacers will be for the inside wheel not to hit the suspension parts?

At 15mm you'll want to consider geting the spacers that include new bolts and chop your stock ones. A 15mm spacer means very little bolt for the lugs to hold onto, not the safest proposition if you're Auto-Xing or tracking the car.

Cheers,

Gary

+1 for that, I personally wouldn't go over 3mm without getting longer studs. And any high-quality 15mm spacer should come with the built-in studs (kics, H&R, Eibach, wheeladapter.com, etc.)

We have SSR Type CRS available for sale. These are awesome forged 2 piece wheels that are super light but without the price tag! Cheers,

Gary
